When you submit articles, do you include your website at the end of the article? I am guessing not to, to just mention an autoresponder e-mail address.
Yes, you should include your url in your sig file. It's best to send them to a squeeze page, so you can capture their name and email address.
I doubt you can include your site in the body of an article. Most of article directories would reject such an article. Having a link in the author box to your site/squeeze page is the only option.
As said before use a squeeze page. If you offer an ebook for download you will boost your subscription rate.
This is not quite true What would make the surfer interested in your services is a well written, informative article. If the article is crap, then no matter how many links to your pages you have in the author bio, no one will click on them.
popnyc, very few will give you their e-mail address. But, if you put in your url, along with a kick-ass article, you will get far more hits. Why restrict yourself like that? No offense, but it's about using common sense. But, if in doubt, experiment. Do them both.
I always put my url to the resource box of all articles. This way generates traffic and backlinks to my sites.
Weird. Isn't putting your signature and links on the resource box the very reason why you submit to article directories in the first place?
A squeeze page converts a lot more then just sending someone to your homepage. That would be the distinctive advantage in my eyes. -Scott
While at the same time most visitors will back out of the site. That would be the distinctive disadvantage in my eyes.
In the author bio I'm putting my content site, and unsure whether to include my lead affiliate product's storefront URL.....!? Don't want to blatantly sell....but maybe instead just put the site and an exit pop-up of the affiliate site? What have you done in the author bio?
How many articles have you written? Sounds like your pinning all your hopes on one article and can't make up your mind what to do. Write lots of articles and test to see what works the best for you.
There is always a portion in aticle sites where you can include your url when you are submitting an article..but others do not allow this...you can put your url only in your profile as author..
Any agree that the author's link should be on top instead of at the end of the article? Here's an example: http://searchwarp.com/swa61485.htm
I'm kind of confused with ezine articles.... They sent me an email telling me I need to take my affiliate link out of the article. They said that I can only use my own domain name to redirect the affiliate link. and when I do that, they'll accept it. But the thing is I AM redirecting the affiliate link from my very own domain! So I don't know how to talk to them to tell them this... Anyone know?
