Hi I have written a couple of articles about the sport I my new ebay niche store is about. I am planning to submitt a couple of them to squidoo an other such sites, but will it be for the better or worse to upload all of the articles on all the sites, or should I submit one article to each site? What is best? And how do I set up the backlinks? Do I use the link list feature (at least squidoo offers this), or should I include the backlink in the article(s) ? Can I aslo submit the articles to the niche store, or will google and other se's find this as duplicated material? Thanks
Ever heard of "information overload"? You should consider letting your readers read one article at a time. ... One or two a week. At the end of each article, give a preview on what its coming up in your next article, and when it will be published. I, myself, do not pay any attention to this "duplicate content." In fact, I think it is pretty ridiculous. Screw it. I think it is better to show it to thousands of targeted readers through X number of sites.
Publish one per site. You can create hyperlinks within a Text/Write (or any other module) quite easily. Go here to find out how: www.squidoo.com/basichtml Once you've published your lens at Squidoo get some feedback. Go to the Critique Me sub-forum at SquidU.com. Give a brief but descriptive post about what your lens is about and be open to suggestions and direction from others. Be sure to implement the ideas and feedback that sound good to you. Be sure to thank each and every person in the thread. Don't have more than one thread about it, keep the one and keep it going until the lens is polished and looking good. Then go to www.lensroll.com and submit your lens there. Be sure to add a description that isn't a straight copy and paste off your Introduction Module. You get another chance at drawing the attention of the Search Engines. Don't waste it with duplicity. If you publish a hub at Hubpages then stop by the forum at Hubpages and find a suitable sub-forum to create a discussion about your area of interest. Again, something more then just a "stop by my hub at...". It's another chance of having search engines find more information about you. Or there may be a discussion already occurring in which you have expert knowledge. By adding your voice and impressing others with freely given information they will be inclined to click on your profile link and see what you have published recently. Hubpages is a little different in that it allows people to join each others fan clubs. So if they join yours (and I don't go out of my way to ask people) then whenever you publish a new hub they get sent an email with the link and the opening paragraph. I also recommend Gather.com. Sign up and find Groups (GatherGroups) that lay within your interests. And then when you publish your article you can have it sent out to the Groups that you are subscribed to. Some are moderated, but there are plenty which aren't. It provides links back to your article throughout the site and also is queued on other group members most recent articles published page.
