Hi guys, I have a question re article marketing... When you guys write up an article and submit this to articles databases etc to create backlins, and increase traffic to a website, do you also publish that same article on your website? I was just thinking about this because of the duplicate content penalties I've been reading about lately. Is it good practice to publish the articles you syndicate on the website you're trying to promote also? Thankxx!
I haven't done much article SEO but my thoughts would be either a) don't have the article on your own site, just let others publish it or b) have a similar article (in theme but not in words) on your own site that should avoid any dupe content penalties, while still inflating your link popularity
yes I own many sites and yes I publish my own articles on my site what I do is I plan it and add to the first paragraph and the last two - it get seen as another article - some will say I am wrong .. its not true BUT I do it all the time and IT WORKS!
Thanks to both Sounds like good advice! I'll try and make some changes to the articles I have featured on my websites and see how it goes.
I have articles on my site, but you have to work this way: - add article to your site - wait to SE to index it - submit to enzines SE than know, witch article is original.
