Submitting Advice (for me)

As a non "webguy" I learn a lot from here and have submitted to both free and paid directories.

I have come across some nice quality directories that are offering discounts at times from their normal $25-$50 down to $15-$30.

So I jet over to my category to submit and find out that that page is not even indexed by Google. (sometimes)

So my question is would you submit to a quality paid directory to a category that is not indexed? or better to wait?

    Thanks!

Similar questions were asked before. One of them was more directly associated with PR. Check this thread.

The bottom line is that people would submit their links to quality directories regardless of their PR, even if they are very new directories that are not indexed yet.

it really depends on the directory ... some are offering discounts and the pages are indexed while others the case is different so it all depends :)

If the main page has good PR and you are looking solely for a boost in PR for your site, it normally worth listing because the page will normally be boosted to a higher PR on the next update.

I would make sure though that the directory is held by someone experienced in running directories and not just someone looking to make a quick buck.
