    Welcome to the forum shuba...

I would ask people to put links up to your site.

This way you won't have to submit - google will find the site through links.

    Welcome Shuba

To get started just submit the site url [linked to the other pages] to Google and Yahoo and do as SEbasic says :)

Shuba, if you post the url to your site, or ask someone to take a look at it, they may post the url back here with comment. It's a handy way to get your site found if that's what you want.

    Cheers

    Welcome to the community Shuba.

I agree with SEbasic. Don’t bother submitting your site. Work hard on getting links to your pages containing your keywords in the link text. Always try to have those links included on sites that have relevance with your site and hopefully a good page rank, and let the bots do their job. It’s usually better this way… and sometimes even faster.

The only place where you HAVE to submit your site is DMOZ, but be advised that most of the times getting in is not an easy task. And don’t forget to make a conscious review all the DMOZ categories and guidelines BEFORE submitting your site.

When you submit to DMOZ, submit the top page only, and submit once only. As mentioned, do the research first and choose the best category, read how to write a description and title, don;t just make something up that sounds good.

Each of these done properly increase your chances of getting listed faster. For many editors, a newly submitted site in the right category with a proper description will get listed ahead of the hundreds of junk sites waiting in the same category.
