Submitters Beware

With anything online i always say be prepared to loss it, this way you are not disappointed. For other things in future you may want to contact the owner of the directory you want to do a paid submission too also check out their disclaimers and TOS.

"dont make directorties for Fun or Quick money.
Make it only if you can handle them, have good editors , can do perfect SEO on them and Link buildings with promotions.
Always make sure you never mess up with the paid listings, thought FREE links should also be given the equal value."

I think the unfortunate thing is the lack of communication, from how it sounds. No refund, no reply, no TOS?

directory owners should not think about making money but doing good service.
i think the owner or webmaster will be around in DP or sitepoint hunt for him

this is really not a professional way of running a directory.
