Submitted to all directories, now what?

    I have submitted to all directories, now what should i do? I know about mailing other persons to ask if they can put a link on their page for some amount of money, but I want to do something for free (already know about link baiting). anything else that can be done?

    after some 9 years i still have never managed to submit to ALL directories
    i am far from that

    hence you must have done a tremendous job the past weeks or months

    now it's time to create content
    there are hundreds or thousands of possibilities to create valuable content for any kind of site to attract surfers and thus create traffic by offering unique value content

    also it might be time to sit back and validate all and every page to make the truly best out of your waiting time
    from code validation to CSS validation to SEO to adsense optimization
    there might be years of additional work waiting for you to keep you happily busy for eternity if you wish so

    if i look at any of the linked domains in your signature - i see decades of work ahead
    also keep in mind that submitting to DMOZ is one thing
    being accepted another story
    value content is the key to really get accepted - all your linked sites look rather new and rather empty to an editor who is whort in time and has thousands of sites waiting to be acepted in a directory

    lol, i have not really submitted to all directories yet, but I was wondreing what else can be done so that i can do two things at the same time to gain more backlinks :D

    Hi,

    I think you should write down a nice article and submit the same to 200-300 article directories. It should get you good one way incoming links.

    Also, I will advise that you write some good quality articles for your own site which can provide more "related keywords" to search engines to spider and hence get you more hits from organic search results.
