    Just submitted 2 non commercial sites to the Yahoo directory into the same small category - will they have a problem with this? DMOZ would, haha ;)

    Edit: I forgot the point of this thread - Both of these sites will be in the Instruments:Artists:Tuba category (PR4) - and both of them point back to my main site which I'm trying to rank for the word Tuba. Yahoo is currently my worst ranking at 15. I'm really curious to see if this will have any effect on the ranking for my main site.

    Lets see what happens! This might give us some insight into the importance of the directory. I think this example will be a good test because they're very small categories in a non-competitive niche.
