Well,submitting sites is important in promoting sites.But u can choose search engines which is widely used by ppl.U know,successful submission to Google,Yahoo,Bing,Ask and so on is helpful for ur sites.Over 300 search engines I don't think it neccessary.Just some search engines with high PR,submission to them is enough.Hope can help u a little.

 

I thought there is no need to submit a website to search engines. Just do on page and build quality backlinks, they will automatically find your site and index it. Also, don't forget to submit xml sitemap.

I never submit my site to search engines, you're just wasting your time. You don't have to do that to get your pages indexed. Just build backlinks and you'll get all your pages indexed.

 

It isn't required, they will find you eventually, but if you want to speed up the process and get your site indexed sooner it definitely won't hurt to submit to as many search engines as possible.

 

If you want you can do it but you should not keep it your primary task in seo...

Not really required. I had a program called Hello Engines! Which submitted to every single site engine that existed but it really makes no difference as the major players are google yahoo and msn.

 

submitting to all search engine traffic will help you as well and you can submit it easily with just a free service and the best part is submitting your site to all pr directory as well as this will get ur site in google result.
