I'm submiting article to article directories, I have several questions. Should I put article on my page first? to get indexed by google and than send to directories? or should I write unique articles for directories? Should I have several articles or is it okay to have one promotional and use it over several places? green rep. for any lead.
I have learned that writing one article for your website, and then another for all your article directories works best. This is to avoid duplicate content on your specific site. That is what I do atleast. Travis
Yeah, I personally submit a newly written article to my blog first. This tends to be my first draft, and often includes things that article directories such as ezine articles frown upon (affiliate links, recommendations, etc.) To avoid duplicate content, I have a free rewriting service (but it requires a bit of manual work) to make hundreds of readable copies of the same article, and tehse i submit to the article directories.
It is fine to submit the same article to several directories. You can then take that article and rewrite it and use it on your site. But you should not use the exact same article on your site if you have submitted it to article directories. stavra

Fresh content always drives traffic to your website. so in my opinion try to write unique articles frequently and submit it manually to Quality article directories. If your article is unique and useful, other peoples will put your article on there site with your back link.
I'm sure you can find people to pay to do this manually. But it is just a 5-10 minute process to do yourself. stavra
Someone said write an article and submit it to the directories, and then rewrite the article for your own site. That is backwards. You want the best article, the one that is most original, the one that is most content rich on your site. Content is King remember. Rewrite it after you have it on your site exactly how you want it. Then and only then, you should submit it to some article directories. Hope that helps, Travis
I agree this is the best way to do it. I alwys put my original on my site and then rewrite if I want to submit it. You want people to use your site so you want fresh original information on your site.
