Not really, it is a one time fee on a six year old domain that gained it's own PR rank through manual link submissions. Not like most directories that are just recently purchased, unrelated, and expired domains. Even when Google banned PR from everyone, AYSF was still going strong. People do not just visit for two seconds to submit their site and leave either, it actually have visitors who like to review sites and check out other features. A one time investment is worth it.

 

I'm not sure you can say $19 is expensive when you get all the following:
