One of my two year old sites was indexed without any request from my side. Of course, the new sites are not indexed in the cuil and hope my request would be considered by the cuil team.

Its not about sticking with google lol. I'm using Google all the time but I just don't want to be back in the race if Cuil does hit the level of success it has the potential to get. @lightly salted.

I'd hoped by now that Cuil would have webmaster tools. Until they do, I really can't take them seriously.

Thanks for telling me about Cuil. I'm impressed and I was already listed. I book marked it and can't wait for their version of adsence.

I don't know if Cuil has indexed any of my sites or not. Their search engine bot seems to act differently.

Honestly, I'm not too impressed with them. For a rival Google search engine they've got a long way to go.

The fact that Cuil is being marketed by the media as a Google killer means it's destined to fail. You need to revolutionary not evolutionary to beat Google and Cuil doesn't deliver. Google would probably be more worried about Mahalo if it could scale better.

It is? I know every numpty and his dog has started threads on DP with Google killer in the title, but I don't think I've seen any official media describe Cuil as a Google killer. Can you point me to where this has been said? I'm not saying it hasn't, just that I never saw it.
