PS: I'm claiming its the biggest Free Directory List in the world, simply because I havent found anything better... Other sites have tons of broken links or duplicate directories.

 

Hi,

Of the first 6 sites 2 don't work, 1 isn't a directory and one requires reciprocal links.

It would also be pretty useful for vistors if you could change the colour of the text of visited links, so people going through the list looking for directories to submit to can keep track of which sites they've already visited.

The link works fine for me.
Good list, i like the column IP address, we can found different ip classes, but i suggest to add (sorted by pagerank) that will be very useful.

@jamieellis i have gone through and tested the first 6 free directories and removed 1 after going through the directory submission.

I've taken aboard you're suggestion and changed the a visited color.

sorry about that had some technical difficult with the DC

@livre the page rank feature is the next one.
After that if theres enough support I have two features in mind.

1) Duplicated filtered not by top page rank but filtered out by a combination of web site worth. (Using one of those site worth scripts)
With a limit of say 3 duplicate ip links. Plus The additional information on any webpage that gets searched for.
2) Feature to further categorize the directories into their own directories.
So submitters can submit to general, or niche directories.

However I haven't decided which feature I'll go for due to budget.

Anyway just added 15 new free directories
2 - free with reciprocal
4 paid directories.

Have about 495 to hand review that weren't picked up. So will get onto that tomorrow.

If anyone interested in investing like a partnership or other proposal just let me know. I'm looking to making this succesful.

Terrific list, like the simple layout, I'd recommend a 'Sort By' feature for the top variables. Did you do the script backend yourself or is this all manually inputted data? Thanks also for including my directory

 

maybe make each directory you click on open in a new browser or window? I loose the list every time i Submit...

For this purpose you can use firefox or chrome and middle mouse click a link.
It will open up a new tab.

To be honest its not a great list at the moment, the directories are not sorted by niche, which wastes too much time for the submitter.
As many niche directories won't accept other niche sites.

So my next step will be to create some sort of category structure.
Additionally to have some sort of checker, to enable directories that were once alive, to be checked again for status.
As website directories tend to vanish after a while

 

it still look too blank, it look as though just a simple site and not much of attraction to users
