These are paid directories. It would have been nice to mention that in your post.

Stupid way to just get some traffic to your sites. It's going to piss alot of people off.

By the way, I do submit to paid directories, but I like to know the info upfront.

I have 6 PR8 sites i submit to for FREE, 100+ PR7... wow your about 20 years behind the rest of us charging for silly PR2-PR3 dirs... shame on you not mentioning you charge haha good luck with your day job

Exactly. Why is everyone so uptight? He didn't say it was free so work it out for yourself.

 

Well, it's kind of a waste of time since the majority of people who visit this forum are looking for free directories. Just IMO, it's common courtesy to say 'free' or 'paid' in the title.

 

ok maybe i was a little over the top i am sorry, but yes this is a webmasters forum and we look to improve our site rankings for as little as possible, if i was going to pay for a directory listing i would pay for a much higher PR, again i am sorry, but most people viewing these are looking for free listings... it might be an idea to allow DP members to submit for free, this way you build up your listing numbers and help DP members at the same time. or at least advise people this is a paid directory.

And thats your first mistake (chasing PR) it doesnt really work like years ago

Dont assume that if its free its great (and vice versa) Some of us have money
to promote our sites and wouldnt touch half the crap directories that get posted here
(dropped domains, adsence directories, ect ect)

I agree that posting your directory is paid would be helpful in the future...

I agree... Paid directories must be mentioned in the title... Because many really are looking for Free directories to submit...

 

Thanks for wasting our time buy fooling us with the free links scam, i don't know why people use awkward ways to market their sites!!

 

But guys, he didnt wrote that these directories are paid.
Btw, people which are searching free dirs, will not submit to your dir. So its better to add some tag free/paid in the title.
