    Hi.

I have a nice free and pay web directory resource.
    http://www.seocompany.ca/directory/free-web-directories.html
    http://www.seocompany.ca/directory/web-directories.html

They show domain, info, price, PR, PR+/- from last update, Google IBL, Yahoo IBL, MSN IBL, Alexa Ranking.

    Both pages are PR5.

    Here is the submission form.
    http://www.seocompany.ca/directory/top-web-directory-suggestions.html

Please include a write up on your site. It should include the following information.

Here is what needs to be in the info paragraph.
1.Cost in US dollars for each sub including if there is a free.
2.Types of subs. If there is more than one submission note the name. "Free Listing" "Priorty" "Advanced" or what ever.
3.Time it takes for the submission to be approved.
    4. Location of hosting. UK, US, AU etc.
    5. Number of links they give you. For the directories that give regional links you can say "up to 5 links".
    6. Whether they allow the title to be keyword rich and how many title words, 2, 3, 4.
    7. If they allow multi subs for the same domain name. Only note it if they do.
    8. If they are cost and free and the free requires a reciprocal link note that also.
    9. Any thing else you think is important.

    Thanks!

Please write a nice info. This one of the reasons I don't add directoreis up. I just don't have time to write up a info. Here is a good example I wrote for business.com .

Standard listing is $149 a year and gives you 1 link to your site and 4 additonal deep links. The Sidebar Placement option is $25 setup and starting at $0.20 CPC. The Premium Placement option at the top of the page is starting at $0.40 CPC.

    Thanks!

Everyone: I am still getting poor descriptions. Some are way to long. Some are on it the form of a description. If you want your directory added you will need to provide me with a nice short 1 or 2 sentence description. I should read like a directory description. It should contain all the information and be readable.

I am sorry to be so picky but I don't have time to rewrite descriptions for people that are running a directory.

By the way I get alot of traffic on my site and my "free web directories" page ranks #1 on Yahoo and #1 and #2 on MSN. For "web directories" am on the 2st page of Yahoo and on the 1st page of MSN. I am still in the sandbox on Google so no rankings there. Plus the page is a PR5 page.

So submit your pay web directory or free web directory but please write me a professional description. Full of good information, short and sweet.

clasione: I just build it up as a resource to drive geeks to my site. It has a routine to do the Alexa Ranking through the Alexa API, and it will scrape the PR and PR+/-, and scrapes the IBL and Site:'s.

I did it all on a shoe string budget also. I think I have less than $250 in code and will have about $100 in additions when done. I have a really bright Zeal editor that has taken a liking to it and has given me a very good deal on adding up.

Also I have some one that will be doing the same in German.
    http://www.seocompany.ca/directory/webverzeichnisse-und-webkataloge.html

After I get a German list done I will be doing a French and Spanish directory list. Its kind of fun. I have the best PR history list on the internet so now I am working on the best directory lists on the internet in 4 languages.
    http://www.seocompany.ca/pagerank/page-rank-update-list.html

I will be adding a interface that will let people add there own directories in the next few months. They will need to be approved before they go live, and it will stop spam by only allowing one addtion per IP until that addition is approve with a black list for spammers and a white list for knowns that want to help out.

I also have one of the best directories of SEO tools on the internet. I am looking for some one that will work for low pages to maintain that also.
    http://www.seocompany.ca/tool/seo-tools.html

    Thanks for you kind comments!

How about including a list of "Topical directories" ?
I suggested my Web Design Directory but it seems like you put only general web directores to your list

    Cheers,

SyncMaster: I think Topical Directories are a great thing. Right now I am working on general pay and free directories in English, then German directories, then French and Spanish and after that I will get a topical directory list going perhaps.

If I can get my programer to setup the db so that people that add their selves with a white and black list, ip tracker so you can't add more till the one you have added is reviewed - I think at that point I would go ahead with a topical directory list.

Updates On My Directory Page: I now have one of my programers working on a submission form that I will be opening to every one. The directories when submitted will not go live till I check them. Each IP address will only be able to add one directory at a time to protect against spam. After that directory is added or rejected that IP will be able to add another directory.

I will have a white list for tested IPs and helpers. There will also be a black list for spammers.

I already have a page for german.
    http://www.seocompany.ca/directory/webverzeichnisse-und-webkataloge.html

I will be adding a page for French and Spanish also.

I have a German SEO type that will be adding up German sites. If any one is or knows a French or Spanish SEO type PM me. I would like to get a good French and Spanish directory pages going also.
