Me shandaman, and kailyn_morgan are creating a blog which we will put daily SEO tips on at www.sseppd.org It is going to be a powerful site and we want you to submit your tips!

When you submit to us a tip we put your name and link on it! Since this site is a PR4 at start you should get some powerful linking from it in no time!

Maybe you cant class this as a tip but i would suggest the following.

1. Dont believe all of the hype.
2. Try for yourself, dont be put off something because someone else told you to.
3. Some things really are just Myths in SEO, find out whats true and not.
4. Stop putting things off.

All the usual tips have already been mentioned in this forum and many others, some extremely useful, some utter nonsense, and the real gems people keep to themselves, i cant blame them for that either.

Make a plan and set goals

Try and do something every day, even if it is as simple as making a blog post

it should be detailed on the best ways to research and the best way to optimize the keywords.

Keep all your related content under one domain! Sub-domains are okay, but don't go breaking it out into 10 different domains/sites. Your site will build up more value and trust if you keep all the content under one umbrella.

Dont take anyones word exclusively. You have to think for yourself, theres too much debate around certain topics and most top "seo guys" dont agree with eachother. Use whatever works for you.

 

The best ways to increase your link popularity is to submit it to general or neach directories and articles directories. There are some free and paid authority directories available in the market. Find out list of free directories here.

what are the things we aim when we talk of optimization,
1) page rank
2) traffic
3) search engine position, or search ranks.

here are a few methods,
1) article submission, submit articles and add your link.
2) directory submission, preferred paid submission.
3) forum posting,
4) link bait, talk about your site and resources, and let others discuss that.
5) unique contents, even buy if you can't get for free
6) link exchange, and buy links,
7) optimize for title and other meta tags
8) anchor text optimization, must be your main keyword while link exchange,
9) submit to search engines
10) submit to dmoz and other directories, like yahoo dir.

there could be endless ways for seo, as seo is not an activity, it is a process.

Focus users not search engines. When you write content/meta tags, Don’t stuff too many keywords.

 

SEO is a continuous work. Reaching the top is just one part of the journey.
