Don't worry about recip link, unless you would like say thanks by pointing a link back to my site, it is not necessary/mandatory. I only demand one from paid-for dirs, or from those who would like some extra links as pointed out on the submit page.

Thanks. Just make sure you don't give me more than my fair share . Make some special links page, with few categories, and stuff it all there, not on your homepage. But as you say you read about it, I'm sure you already know the basics. If you plan on growing, consider some link script - part good organic listings about robotics, part recips with at least slightly related sites, and you are on a good way to grow with your links.
