We just launched Monster Directory and to start things off we're giving away one brand new Playstation 3 60 Gig! All submissions recieved by March 31st, 2007 will be automatically entered to win. The winner will be announced on the evening of April 3rd, 2007.

I'm still actively buying links so I dont plan to pocket any money for at least the next 6 months, all money recieved from submissions go right back into DP community to buy more links.

Yes, the site is a PR0, ( hey every directory has to start somewhere ) but I dont plan on it being a PR0 forever, by the next update, it should be a least a PR5,PR6 or maybe even a PR7. So get your sites in early, after the next update i'll be raising the prices.

This is our first directory and we plan to make it a strong one. We invested just about $1,000 before it even launched ( Playstation 3, design and phpld script) and plan on continuing investing until its one solid and strong directory.

The chances of winning the Playstation are pretty high. I would say maybe 1 in 250 the most.

P.S. Whether this is the right way or wrong way to start a directory by giving something away i'm not sure. This whole thing is still a big learning process for me.

 

A contest is a great idea...something I should consider doing myself. That said, would you consider a cash equivalent? I'm not a gamer...love to play Tiger Woods, but aside from that not really interested in the play station.

If a cash is an option, then let everyone know!

 

Well I have already bought the Playstation 3. I'm sure you wont have a problem selling it online. If you sell it for $50 under MSRP i'm sure someone would snatch it up since you wont find it discounted anywhere yet. The MSRP is $599, I paid $650 with tax.

Oh by the way, the winner is responsible for paying for shipping .
