Not necessarily. I've bought links in his directories and am happy with them. You can see the backlinks to the site and know that it's been promoted. The toolbar isn't everything.

Just an FYI, keep the mis-spelling around somewhere... You'd be surprised how many legit visitors you will get to your site mis-spelling it

We've had "thesaurs" ranked on the first page of Google for almost a year now.. Among other mis-spellings

If you mis-spelled it, chances are someone else will... Capitalize on it!

Good Point Mia, But For directory categories, i rather have it spelled correctly and for on misspelling anchor text or something. But very good point.

 

Spell the Category correctly but mis-spell varients of the category listing in the "keyword's" meta for the category pages... That's about all it takes.
