Hey All I can never seem to submit to DMOZ and i am looking for my website to be on there. So question??? ill give $10 for anyone who can get me on there in 2/3 days. I dont really have a right lot but i am willing to pay someone with the know about this. I notice they is a lot of people who wirte articles for the site and are active members aswel PM me and i will give you the dtails on the website i run that i would like adding to the DMOZ directory Thanks Alistair
I don't know which is worse That you value a dmoz listing at $10 or that you come from the UK and that is your level of English
Wrong request! You supposed to submit your site to DMOZ by yourself and wait just like everyone else. If you cannot do it, pay someone else to submit it on your behalf. The money you pay SHOULD not be for inclusion in DMOZ, as virtually nobody can guarantee that.
lol. DMOZ is worth nothing. lots of junk listed there, and none of my top quality 8 websites managed to get listed. DMOZ listing does not effect SERPs at all, and has little contribution to PR, which also effect SERPs very little. The guy is ridiculous but myself I wouldnt pay more than 10$ to get listed there.
I agree, with ChaosTrivia. I have submitted sites and waited waited ... nothing. I made one jewelry site 3 years ago for a friend, my own design, a Jewelry wholesale website with no other ads, good page rank but it get never accepted.
HI I also submitted many of my sites there a long time ago and never ever has any of my sites been included.. I think they are dead unless you know a person there at can get your site included... and I would also pay to have a few of my sites included.. Thx Tom
Dmoz is worthless, its become a laughing stock with anyone who knows about SEO. Tales of corrupt mods, inappropriate websites and listings. IMO It's not worth paying to get into, although to be fair, you shouldn't be able to pay to get into it anyway, should you...
In the final analysis, top class content will make all the difference. If contents of a site delights the visitors, one will win the war, eventually. Loosing some battles like not getting listed in DMOZ, or any other famous directory, will always be there. If visitors, even a few in starting, are delighted. It is just matter of time, word-of-mouth will make the site popular. And, every thing else like good PR and SERP will fall in place. After all, with all their experience and technical expertise, people at search engine strive to give best results to their customers.
I honestly don't get DMOZ. Such a big site, yet cared for like its trash. The owners have to step up their game.
I would pay a nice amount based on listing, not submission. They should rename it "The Closed Directory Project"
