    i have submittede one of my sites to dmoz 1 year before but they did not accept it yet.

    dmoz is only accepting the web sites pf the dmoz editor. dont trust dmoz

    Honestly, if you submitted in 2006, then your submission was list. Please try again.

    I think best way is after everybody submitted site to DMOZ, everybody should forget it and focus on buildlink on other place.

    I submitted 2 sites in same niche to DMOZ, one got accepted the other didn't. Don't worry, I have never seen any benefit of being dmoz registered! Just forget about it and move on.
    Previously I offered to be a moderator but noone got back to me.

    Tip to get listed in Dmoz fast - buy an already Dmozed aged domain and use a 301 redirect to redirect it to your current website.

    And when that is found out (even just the sale of a dmoz listed site) it's promptly removed... and why? because of what you are suggestion *rolls eyes*

    There are better ways to get listed... like not even bothering.
