I have found a very neat software application, which I have been using for the past couple of weeks. It's called Directory Submitter, and it was released by Brad Callen, the guy who produced SEOElite. The software is totally free to download and use, which is quite astonishing, keeping in mind the high-quality of the software and its usefulness. The software allows you to easily submit your websites to over 380 free web directories, and if you upgrade (which costs something like $47), you can submit your websites to something like 1,100 free web directories. The software has nothing to do with blackhatting. Its function is to simplify the manual submission of your websites to web directories. It stores 380+ free web directories, most of which have a PR between 3 and 6, and nearly all of which do not require reciprocal links. You input the details of your website (i.e., URL, description, keywords, etc.) in the software, click to open a web directory in the software's browser, navigate to the appropriate category, and the software fills in your website's details automatically. You then move on to the next directory and do the same. Thus, the whole process of submitting your website to directories is greatly simplified and a lot of time is saved. What's great about Directory Submitter is that it also stores the dates in which you last submitted to each directory, and it stores which anchor texts you submitted. Plus, the software allows you to add other directories to its database. Quite cool!
very interesting, shall give it a shot when i have the time. Anyone care to provide reviews after trying it out?
good all around submitter but not fast. Digixmas submitter is the best for speed and rotating title and data.
Downloaded and had a look yes you can use multiple descriptions and titles but so can the form fill from mystik and its 10x faster for doing submissions
I've used the software and I found it useful. However, it takes a lot of time to submit. A few directories in the standard version give errors, so I think the list is not regularly updated. Also, its actually 350 directories, not 380
I downloaded the software earlier, used it for about 2 hours and managed to submit 5 of my sites to about 20 directories. It is a big time saver, but you do still need to put some effort in (Verification codes, choosing category, and occasionally correcting some fields). But overall, I would say it is a very handy little program.
choice, you have a link where one can download / purchase the form fill from mystik? I tried Directory Submitter when it was first released a couple of weeks ago and it felt a bit slow and cumbersome to me.
Thanks for it, seems to be useful, i will try it Digixmax looks nice too but i read it submits your site to thousands of directories the risk then is sandbox or kind of spam penality because of two many backlinks at the same time the best is to have backlinks regularly, delayed in the time is it the case with digixmax ?
hi. I am also trying Directory Submitter. And What happens after 350 submission??, does it stop working?? and needs to upgrade??
You can use it to submit every site that you create to the directories; you can ad more directories to it manually; and you can upgrade.
Yes, directories can be added but then again it would require a lot of effort to add more than 2,000 directories to it, and keep the list updated.
wel,if you submit to 300 directories, the chances of them all approving your site is not 100%,and the chance of the ones that do,and them all doing it within a day or two of each other would be slim as well i would think,so would there be a penalty of some sort,i dont know. But submit for traffic, because the more eyes that see your sites name, the better IMO
