Submit Sitemap to Yahoo

    To add site map to yahoo
    1.Log in to yahoo site explore with your yahoo id.

    2.After log in click on submit site feed.

    3.Enter your website url in the tab and click on submit feed tab.

    4.Now add atom.xml/rss.xml after your website name and click on add feed.

    Your sitemap has been now successfully added to yahoo.

    i am not the webmaster of this site , i build sitemap for this site .

    How long does this take to show up on Yahoo? I did it about 4 days ago. (Google found me right away).

    One more method:

    If you own a wordpress blog and want the sitemap to be automatically submitted each and every time new posts are added then you can use the xml sitemap plugin. But for using yahoo submit through the plugin you would need the yahoo application id which can also be created from the yahoo site.

    one of the better methods is hang your site to a directory or a friendly site (link exchange) and Google to pick up the link. for better ratings.

    How does your sitemap help your website, does it help the actual website or does it help the rankings on website like google, and yahoo, and msn.
