Help me! - I want order

    Problem:
People are swarming all over the section for "Buy, Sell or Trade" - "Link Exchange" asking us to "Submit to my new directory".

That is not a link exchange...

That is a request for the "Directories" - "Solicitations & Announcements" category.

    Solution:
Please - Some MOD - make a sticky thread telling people that the category for "Buy, Sell or Trade" - "Link Exchange" is not for asking people to submit links to directories.

Yes I am a little annoyed at this ;)

When you see such threads use the report a bad post feature and request they be moved. The problem with stickies is that no one reads them. Same is true of the FAQ.

Right I will  - I have been looking at that button for a long time now... not really connecting it with a purpose for me (how silly the mind can be). Now there is a purpose.

It's a cruel world for those of us who wants to make order out of chaos :p

Yeah.. Most people are lazy to read stickies... That's what causes them trouble.

That's true, i posted in the Google sections FAQ saying pity more poeple didn't read this thread as it covers about 50% of the questions made daily. Someone replied, people dont even read the threads they are posting in let alone the FAQ.

Made me laugh as the comment does hold some truth. :D

So, members are busy reporting and mods are busy deleting.

Lots of trouble here in both cases...lol

Better if we make a sticky topic so that people can get that.

A forum like DigitalPoint is in this way very similar to a call center or a customer service department where people have to answer the same 10 questions over and over for ever
    • What is the opening hours?
    • When do I get my money?
    • Where is my stuff?
    • ...
I suppose that as long as the categories are able to reflect this fact in a way so that we can discuss more in-depth subjects without being smothered by "customer-questions" DP will remain a successful developing society.

    24 hours(and if available, 25th hour too!)

When do I get my money?
When the buyer pays you(if you aren't scammed)

    Where is my stuff?
In the seller's PC or server or email(if you aren't scammed, again!:D)
