You need many more categories. Within those categories you'll need many sub-categories. You can look at any standard directory to get an idea. Best of luck.
Since you asked - In my opinion to start - remove the adsense - create a category structure that will accomodate submissions (not even close now) - Add some value to the directory through content, like articles or blog. Something to give people when they visit. By asking for link submissions prior to having a category structure built you are asking for a mess.
