    it would be much more SEO friendly if the anchor text for each link was the submitted TITLE, and not "Visit Page." Any thoughts on this?

    You see "Visit page" any SE Spider see's your URL and follows that and not "Visit page"

    It follows the URL at that point it doesnt follow "Visit Page"

    Yes, you will get credit for a backlink but you don't benefit from the anchor text. So yes, its seo friendly but not as friendly as it could be :)
