submit blog to google?

    i've just started a blogspot.com blog - will Google index it automatically or should i submit it? i assumed that now they are linked i wont need to submit.

    i would submit it - it is easy, fast and for free. But i think you do not need to do it, really. ;)

    Backlinks are more important: Forum posting, searchengine submitting etc.

    Backlinks helps a site to get indexed faster.

    Agreed with everything said here. It usually only takes a few days with a few popular backlinks. In addition, I believe displaying adsense ads may help your site get indexed faster as well... Best & Take Care!

    It is not necessary if you have submitted it in the directories and it has been approved, also if already someone linked your website. Automatically google will index your blog. But if you want to get index quicky then add your blog in the signature link of your forum's id, also add it to some of the popular social bookmarking websites like digg.com, buzzflash.net, excite bookmarks, etc.

    You don't need to submit blogs on Google. Google will pick it automatically and will store in their databases.

    You don't need to submit your blog to Google.....just keep on fresh content on frequently basis and submit your blog to blog directories and get somr links from sites or relevant blogs and googlebot will automatcally find and index your blog within a couple of days.....

    From my experience Blogspot blogs normally get indexed within a few days anyway without any inbound links or submissions. (Not that you shouldn't be building links anyway :)
