Well, it's maybe not really spam, but on the other hand you are not really adding any value, since it's basically just Amazon's product but in a new shape. And each service provider must take the decision on whether or not they want to risk their reputation with the searh engines. And if you're not adding any value, I can see that they don't want to deal with you.

Yeah, it's not really a question of spam or not, simply that Google will take a look and say, naaaahhh, and you may never even make the index.

Strangely though, I have one aStore which is 3rd in Google SERPS for an OK long-tail keyword, but I still never make any sales off it, so remember, aStores are pretty sucky generally. I would say, don't waste your time with them.

You can submit an aStore but don't expect any results. Google knows exactly what an aStore is - just a rehash of Amazons products. Why would they rank a site like that?

The only situation where an aStore is useful is if you already have a good site with traffic, and you can link straight to it. Like a supporting shop site. Even then there are much better ways to monetise traffic...

Plus submitting a site to Google is not very meaningful by itself. Google would probably find it eventually anyway, unless you have no incoming links, in which case it is even less likely to get indexed!

I would say as somebody else did above, unless you are including the aStore in a site with good traffic, ranking etc then there is no point in making one, seriously, it's a waste of time.

Paid traffic for an aStore, definately. But instead I would build a proper Amazon site and use SE traffic AND paid traffic.
