Submit all of my articles to one place... or many places?

Like many people, I've written several articles because I want backlinks to my site... which will, hopefully, bump it up in the search engines a bit.

    My question is this--

Let's say, for example, I've written 10 articles. Should I submit all 10 to the same place? Should I submit 5 to one article directory and 5 to another? Should I find 10 different article directories? Should I submit all of the articles to all directories?

What is the best way to do this?

    Thanks!!

I have read many posts right here on DP about article marketing.
It seems to me everyone has their own startegy, and they all work differntly for each person or site.
Since I am marketing a new site, I like to submit to as many as I can. My understanding is that one way links are the best, and article directories can give you that for free.

Some people say not to have the same content listed everywhere becuase it could hurt your rankings. Some say it want hurt, but I think everyone agree's on "Not having your submitted articles on your site", this could hurt your ranking.

I hope this helps, if not I am sure a much better response will turn up soon!:D

10 links from 10 domains is better than 10 links from 1 domain. Also definately do not submit unique content from your own site.

I never thought of that, i guess this is because it makes inbound links look unnatural if you have same content on your site??.

And what happens if you send the same article in two different directories?
