guys... we all are suffering from Paypal issues. I think with the Paypal Invoice we can overcome with this problem in the future. Creating Paypal Invoice is very easy but we need to ask our client about Paypal ID. What do you think about this method?
I think we can also make customized payment button on the website and direct the client to that link. Make sure you select the service option while making button, if its a digital product? Also Don't offer a choice for customer to cutomize anything. Also make a note on the transaction that since its a digital item, so you don't offer refunds. Hope this helps.
Its not going to work i think See posts http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showpost.php?p=13529878&postcount=205 http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showpost.php?p=13529868&postcount=204
Buyer can also dispute through credit card company or can tell the paypal that the transaction is unauthorised. So then the paypal don't have any choice. But you can always show screenshots or terms of services, which the buyer agreed while payment. So Its not 100% foolproof, but to some extent.
If you are not very sure dont ask people to follow .. All payments reversed which I got from Sending Invoice. I sent Invoice and client paid me..Still all payment reversed :X
