can this be done?....i tried, first with the "submit URL" option, and not. And using sitemaps, i don't know how to do the sitemap. I get this weird (.xml) code, and i'm supposed to paste it in a notepad file, and then "upload" it to my blog. I don't really get it. Can someone give me a little insight on this?

Ofcourse you can, a blog is nothing other than a CMS in some sort of way. Google takes some time to index websites, blogs in your case so you have to be patient and make sure you have indexed sites linking back to yours(backlinks :D). For the sitemap it's actually very simple. I in person use http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/ Just put in your site URL and your sitemap will be there for you to download. When you're done using any ftp client of yours log in to your FTP account and upload assuming that you have one :D. If you're using blogger ask someone else to help you in that matter... Hope I helped...

yep, i'm using blogger. i wasn't unhappy with it because i tought that i was the one who knew nothing about it. But it seems that blogger is not exactly the best thing around :(
BTW: i know what "backlinks" are, but i didn't know that i had to have backlinks from an indexed site. And certainly i don't have an FTP (please don't kick me!!! :p)

If you are using a wordpress blog it uses a blog and ping technology which notifies search engines about the new posts whenever you make. Sitemaps cannot be hosted into the same site of the blogger hosted blogs (If can be done, I don't know how it is ?

man, that throws me down the edge. I guess i can't use a free FTP hosting because they would boot me in a blink. I'd better give up on this.

    No! Don't give up!
First of all: I didn't use "backlinks" 'cause I was making fun I used it to shorten things up man, no hard feelings :D. Blogger isn't bad AT ALL, after all it does have a 10PR. Blogs hosted on blogger are probably the fastest blogs to get indexed ever. Oh and about the pinging, just go to http://pingomatic.com and just write evrything whenever you write a new post or edit anything. When I used blogger I got indexed in Max. 2 days using pinging. Oh and there is no reason you should use sitemaps for a blog. Cheers!

Dun worry pinging doesn't give any response, what it does is it informs search engines that you updated your blog and in some occasions that you actually have a blog LOL. With time Google will come accross your site and index it, it just takes time ;).
