@silent_thunder: I like the new takes on the helix symbol. I would probably not make the text in 3D, and I might reduce the size of the Twitter bird. However, I see your vision here. No need for revisions. @oliv3r: I like how you have handled moving the tagline down and still staying consistent with your mirror effect. @redeemer: I think your original color instincts were better than the changes I suggested. I'm not sure if I like the tag line centered better or moved into precise right alignment with the edge of the last x. However, I see your vision, so no need for future revisions. Thanks guys. Another round of great revisions. I feel like I should have started with a shorter contest. I did not realize I would get so many great offerings so quickly that would make it difficult for me to choose. =)
Great contest everyone! I thank all of your for your submissions. I was very pleased with the high quality of logos all around. You were all fantastic with providing updates and tweaks based on my feedback. Although there is only one winner for this contest, there are certainly some of you that I would clearly like to work with again in the future. =) It was very hard to choose. There was a razor thin margin between my two top selections. #1 redeemer WINNER Ultimately, my initial instinct when seeing this logo for the first time was that it perfectly matched the theme. The two Twitter birds intertwined resemble the DNA double helix. This is re-enforced with the "H" in helix again. The text is simple, but readable. And the logo works great on a dark background. The introduction of the green color will not impact my website design ideas. For doing such a great job with the symbol, in combination with a very well done logo overall, I chose redeemer's logo as the winner. Runner up: #2 Pixobox Pixobox was almost the winner here. The logo he provided fully matched the specification. It has a very Web 2.0 feel, matched my color palette perfectly, and represented the theme precisely. I think this logo could have worked almost as well even if the helix had been removed in the background. If redeemer had not done such a good job matching the theme, this logo would have been the clear winner. I definitely hope to work with Pixobox again in the future. redeemer: Please PM your PayPal email address so that I can submit your payment. I'll contact you with some final details. Thanks to all!
Thank you for your review and explanation.hope to work with you in a near future also. Thanks for the contest and congrats to Redeemer.
