    I assume everyone here knows that they should be doing the following:

    1. Create a throw away email address

    This way you can kill it later if it gets too much spam, and have an easy way to file away all incoming mail related to the listings for easier sorting.

    2. Be sure to read every email that comes into that throw away account, as several of the SE/directories require that you confirm your listing from the email account used to list the site.

    3. At some point kill the throw away email, as it is going to get a lot of spam... To do this, i really suggest leaving it active, but forwarding the email to an empty group, so all mail goes poof, however the legit sites will not think the email is dead or delist due to bounces.

    I got about 18 emails asking me to confirm my submission. It wasn't too hard to do, but at least I know it worked. Great little service for a great little price.
