I am very confused about submission of these items: Web Submission Directories Submission Search engines Submission Social Networking Submission Are these the same thing or a different one? Are all of them submitted with the same tools or different ones? Please try to educate me on that! Thank you
dunno about web submission. But the other 3 are different. And i think these 3 are done by different tools. You can find these tools by searching on Google
Not the same. here are my definitions: Web Submission - confusing but mean either directory or search engine submission Directories Submission - submitting to directories like Dmoz, or any directory with different categories of websites Search engines Submission - submission to the likes of Google, yahoo, Msn and so on these are places where you can search for websites Social Networking Submission - also called bookmarking where you vote for sites you like (Digg, Stumbleupon, Furl and so on) Hope this helps...
Web, directory, search engine submission can be done once. But, social bookmarking submission can be done on all your pages or new posts. I suggest getting onlywire to do 20 auto submission.
karlp295 did a nice job of explaining them - but basically they all serve the same purpose: Getting more backlinks to your site (although social bookmarking submissions can also be done to get your site indexed)
