I reckon that product placement (e.g. seeing well-known brands in films) is simply a form of brainwashing, or subliminal messaging. After all, as with sub. msging., your register the brands without noticing. Anyone with me?
If you're seeing the product in the film, it's not subliminal. "Subliminal" means "below threshold (for perception)".
Didnt some company like coca cola used to put like 1/2 second ads in things where you could barely see them. That would be subliminal messagin wouldnt it. Can remember hearing about it but not sure if it was coke.
I reckon the apex twins music videos have got somethin in em, always feel a bit crazy after iv watched em
Subliminal advertising is everywhere. You just have to know where to look and what to look for before you notice it. Erection anyone?
Can't think of anything to say on the matter Other than ads can appear anywhere without you noticing. Kittens are nice, aren't they. But the point still stands. Everyone know that. And that's the real thing.

Doesn't matter who wins an election in the UK, it's the civil servants who run the country and decide what does and what doesn't come into effect.
I remembered one on Jacky Chan's film I guess. it was when a truck carrying canned pepsi just loose control dropping allthe pepsi cans on the street. I am not just sure if it's subliminal coz the can is almost everywhere.
What is amazing is that none of them have tried real butter to lure people to buy the popcorn Hmmmm...Simulated Butter Topping
