So.. I was bored and took a little time off to play World Of Warcraft and I was looking up some new grinding spots for gold.

Well I stumbled across several websites talking about subliminal messaging.. so I was curious of course, read them all and then tried them out for myself.

If you play World Of Warcraft, you should try this.

Step #1: Kill off your character.. just let it die.
Step #2: While at the Spirit Healer, turn off your music and turn the sound up.

Listen to the spirit healer ramble on for a few seconds and then you can clearly hear her saying the following

    "Play World Of Warcraft"
    "Give Us Your Money"
    "Give Your Money Up"
    "That's Right Customer"
There might be others I didn't quite understand.

So either A: We're all conspiracy starters and we only hear this because we play the game.

B: Blizzard is telling us subliminally that we're low life worthless peasants and to give up our money.

Sounds interesting :) Although I've never actually played the game before, I know there are people who are willing to spend a lot of real money acquiring these virtual currencies.

Seems interested. Any video of it or has anyone tried recording it?

Yeah, there's a few videos of this on YouTube and probably several articles on it.

There's even one article where a guy copied his conversation he had with one of the game's service representatives and he denied any "subliminal messaging" claims stating that people were going to hear what they wanted to hear.
