Hey, I have a website that has a 60% visitor return rate, so obviously people are going to develop "ad blindness" if they come back a few times a day/week. So my question is, would it be worth my time to subliminally alternate the background color so it stands out even just a little bit? It's the same sort of situation that people would encounter with a forum (I would think). Any insight from anyone who has tried this, and the level of success, please share your knowledge. Thanks, Travis
sounds like a decent idea. I dont see how it could hurt to try it. Let us know how it works if you do it.
I have that same problem lol, people know how to avoid my ads and see my content, doh! let me know if you come up with anything.
Yeah that sounds like a decent idea worth trying. I was thinking of doing something like that myself. Have 2 different CSS files for the same page with subtle changes and different ad placements. Then just switch which CSS file the my site uses every once and a while.
