Subforums, WebTools, API and Google Double Content Pentality

I building two pages sites on one. Using a forum/sub-domain. Nothing special there.

I got an API key for the sub-domain and the domain.

I've created a sitemap for the main domain using Wordpress.

The subdomain content is related to the content on the main site. It's a blog about me and my travels as an expat in the Philippines. The subdomain concentrates just on Philippines. The main domains all the things I'm interested in.

Good idea or bad so far? Seems like creating subdomains for each of the pages I setup in Wordpress might be a good idea. I mean pages include things I'm interested in. Photography, Making Mony, Travel, Philippines, Spirtiuality

But for now I have only the two. The main domain is setup as an instance of WordPress. The second domain I setup as a Joomla 1.5x site.

After installing Google User Maps I started getting an error message that they key being used is associated with another site.

Can someone give me an idea of what I'm doing wrong here and am I headed into trouble for duplicate content. The subdomain.domain.com is still part of the www.domain.com site.

I can't post clickable links yet, I'm too new but they are at:

    www.rustyferguson.com and cebu.rustyferguson.com

They have been added to my Google webtools and each have their own channel for AdSense.

I couldn't figure out of the subforums this would go in so I put it here in the main.

I started to try to play with the robots.txt but I'm not sure of what I'm doing. But that may be better suited for a WordPress forum as I'm using a google plugin to handle my robots.txt

    Thanks for the help.

Thee admins moved this here after I put it in the wrong place. hope someone will help me before I get busted for double content.

Waht I'm basically asking or trying to...

Will the subdomain be treated as part of the primary domain the way I have set this up and result in double content penalty.

    Thanks!
