Subdomains

So, i just wanted to ask if you can submit subdomains which have different content ? e.g downloads.playstationxyz.com news.playstationxyz.com ?

 

Looks like it's related to me. Probably not "different" enough to justify listing them. I wouldn't waste my time submitting them.

News related to playstationxyz? Downloads related to playstationxyz?

If they were unrelated topics/subjects on the sub domains, then maybe...

Will they get listed? Likely not.

Some sites have thousands of deep links, if your site is good, and it's content is unique then you have a better chance, though I'd not suggest that you hold your breath while you wait...you will die.

 

If they are truly sub domains then only submit the parent domain to the most appropriate category once. If they are 2 different sites that are linked in any way and have related content then submit only one to most appropriate category once.

 

Well the main domain is not very keyword friendly and main domain just lists the latest content from subdomains and there is no point submitting main domain. may be i will just submit downloads.playstationxyz.com or any other sub domain.

 

I feel ya and that is why i didn't go and submit all subdomains (4 in total) However i see there are multiple cases where the main domain is very specific but its subdomains and even deep categories are listed. Well dmoz is mysterious
i just hope my listing gets approved. I have 40% success rate in past.
