I have a real estate classifieds page which I am spending a lot on advertising and marketing right now and it is starting to take off with about 1000 uniques a day.

I am wanting to change it in the near future so when you go to home page www.thehomedirectory.net that it will be a home page with 4 cities to pick from to go and few classifieds in those cities. I am wanting to do LA/NY/Miami/Chicago and have Los Angeles right now and wanting to do it something like www.la.thehomedirectory.net as a subdomain and keep them all seperate so none of the listings or headers on the sites would be the same basicly their own websites. Let me know the easiest way to do this if you can because when I change it over I dont want to loose the LA version I just want to switch it to a subdomain.
