subdomains ranked well?

If I have the domain for example: www.xxxxx.com
And I create website: www.games.xxxxx.com
the web site will ranked like a own domain?

 

i don't know properly but sub domain is based on the main domain.....but once chance i.e if u get more traffic to your sub domain then main domain you can get best rank..

I have done some research on this and i am sure sub domains should have the same qualities as a own domain.

 

I don't so, still main domain rank better its still the best landing page ever...

 

Wrong... A subdomain is its own domain in the eyes of google and reg. stuff. You can host a subdomain on a totally different IP.
