subdomains on a PR6 domain name questions

    Hi,

I'm new to this whole thing and trying to get my feet wet.

To start I'm an expert with wordpress multi-user. I have the system built to make subdomains and then flip them over immediately to TLD, and do the process all over again...basically create websites ultra fast.

I have a lot of domain names, but none ranking very high, so I bought a PR6 name just to see what I could do with it. It has no backlinks, but I saw in another post how to get a lot of backlinks quickly, so I will try that.

    My real questions, is:

how do subdomains fit into this whole process? since I can make subdomains quickly, is it valuable to do this.
    or
does the subdomains have any value to other people trying to boost backlinks and PR? I was thinking about letting people start their own blog as a subdomain under the PR6 website?

So much to learn...I've never worked so hard for $1 a day in my life!!!

Well its not really the information you are looking for but....

Advantage - Revant keyword appears within domain

Disadvantage - It is treated as a new domain, so you will get no trust etc, it will be treated as a new domain.

    ok, so:

main domain will have PR6...and the subdomain on that domain will have PR0.

and another disadvantage would be that it is on the same c-block, so links coming from subdomain site to the main site will not be a true backlink.

    is that correct?

PR is page specific; so even main domain has PR, subdomain will have different value.
use 301 permanent redirect to transfer the PR if needed

Subdomain will start from zero and nothing got from the pr6.

But my opinion is that traffics bring more contents, good contents turn it into a good subdomain site.

So I don't highly rely on high pr domain.
Why google call that PR (pagerank) but not DR (domainrank)?
Focus on good web development on the homepage is my aim.

You bought a PR 6 and it has no backlinks? Are you sure it's not fake?

    www . profitnb . com = pr6
    profitnb . com = pr0

    www . profitnb.com = 68 backlinks
    profitnb . com = 0 backlinks

Problem is, I use wordpress MU for all my sites which uses a .htaccess file to redirect for all subdomains and strips the www. So you can go to www . profitnb . com, but if you click on the menu, the www goes away.

I think I might have to move it to a normal wp blog.

BTW, why is one pr6 and the other pr0? how do you get both to be the same pr. preferably pr6

    Ouch...:(

I'm sorry to say but the PR of that domain has been faked.

Someone else can confirm this but I have checked a couple of sources and it's showing up fake.
