Subdomains effectiveness

    I have often read search engines will rate a site higher if the search word is contained in the actual site name.
    Does the same apply to subdomain names?

    Yeah I was wondering that myself. Iv seen a few high rankers that fall into that catagory

    Id say yes it did but doesnt make much difference these day, as usual its been spammed to death

    it does not matter if you are using domain or subdomain , search engines scan text and its link popularity thats it .
