i want to realease a new website and i was thinking: to buy or not to buy a new domain? :D
can I avoid sandbox if i use a subdomain?
I found a very competitive keyword with practical 0 competition on google. I really want to get on the top as fast as I can but i am afraid of the sandbox.
I don't have any hope with yahoo or MSN because there is an incredibile competition.

LOL yer can, but you will need to be at #1 for that I bet, and if it is a high searched keyword then it might have a hold on it like this so called sandbox

    that's what i am afraid of :D
it's too nice to be true :D
i mean, 500,000 searches last month in overture, and #1 has Pr1 with a little onpage SEO
i think I will go for a subdomain, just to see what is happening.
and i think that in the first three weeks I will not do any SEO on my site, to avoid the sandbox.

Subdomains can beat this sandbox phenomenon...but to that too just don't target highly competetive keyword... do an anlysis and then go for less competetive term... just think if you just go to the sandbox then you wont come out of it for 6 months.... and if you target less competetive keywrod for a couple of months then you can beat the sandbox...and be at the top for years to come...
