Subdomain Setup for Forum / Blog on Go Daddy Hosting

I have installed wordpress blog and a vbulletin forum which purchased on my godaddy web hosting.

I have called them for 3 weeks and they still cannot help me fix this very simple problem. (that must be why they probably get paid $5/hour to work 24/7).

I simply want my blog to be under the subdomain blog.mywebdomain.com and my forums to be under forums.mywebdomain.com

And I want the subdomain to be preserved for every page for example...

    blog.mywebdomain.com/whatever333.php

The way it currently set up is whenever any page is clicked it goes to the current file location i.e.

    mywebdomain.com/blog/whatever333.php

Is there something with the A record or CNAME which I need to do? Seriously, their tech support although easy to get ahold of, is very unhelpful.

    Please Help.

Is your blog running yet? If so, backup database and modified templates and files first.

    - You can simply create a subdomain through your godaddy domain or hosting account. (eg: blog.domain.com)
    - Then either install WP manually or use the auto installer (if it let you to choose directory), and specify that you want blog, forum, whatever at blog.domain.com for domain field.

    It should work.
