   I have a forum which is hosting on folder 'dishnews' of a domain.
   url is http://medianetwork.co.in/dishnews/yabb2/YaBB.pl
   
   If i will create subdomain with a name of 'dishnews' via cpanel, is it delete the contents of existing folder?

   No. The folder will be created if it doesn't exist, but not deleted and recreated if it does.
