Doesn't cost ya much to test right? heh.

Seriously though, if mysite.com isn't sandboxed it's very likely that neither will be a sub-domain or a directory. Either one inherits the trust of the prime domain. Wanna rent a sub-domain to me? ;-)

If you use a directory (yoursite.com/directory) in the same topic of your domain, normally you wouldn't be sandboxed if your domain it's not sandboxed. But, what about a subdomains?

i think if you use sub domain is ok, but directory is not ok!
because sub domain like a new domain, alexa is right but google i'm not sure!

Sorry for the bad advice here GFX^^

a sub-domain is like completely starting a new domain, so yes, there is a high chance you will be sandboxed (even though you do know thats not a real term)

If you start it in a subfolder of the www directory then you will not be hit with any sandbox effect to your main domain

    Hope that helps
