Subdomain or file extension?

    I am looking to add a forum to a website should I make the forum a subdomain or just add it to my site like stocks.com/forums ?

    It makes very little difference, though from a SEO point of view, a /forums folder would probably be slightly better. Though, if the forum is good, it'll stand up just fine on its' own anyway. Good luck
