We all know that having the keywords you are targeting as part of your domain name will help achieve results but what about having a sub-domain with the keywords you are targeting? Example: If you are targeting kw 'Las Vegas Real Estate' and have the site www lasvegasrealestate com you will probably do very well. But what about if you created a subdomain to a different site such as www.thebestlasvegashomes.com and made it: lasvegasrealestate.thebestlasvegashomes.com will that achieve the same results as having the domain lasvegasrealestate.com?
It won't matter anymore because the search engines (at least Google anyway) no longer consider subdomains to be separate sites for SEO purposes due to people abusing them in an attempt to manipulate the search index. In other words, Google treats them as regular directories now.
