keep the filename as brief as possible. when picking a filename, use your keyword in it and nothing more. if "Merlins-Herbal-Magic-Root-Elixir" is the term you are targeting, then ganocoffeebrand.com/Merlins-Herbal-Magic-Root-Elixir would be fine. not sure why you have to use ganocoffeebrand.com/Merlins-Herbal-Magic-Root-Elixir/index.html unless you have "Merlins-Herbal-Magic-Root-Elixir" as a directory and have an index file in it

sultanofseo lol... so you are asking why I have that file? because it is an index meaning each page would reflect index.html like this site KauaiMassages.com every page is an index thats why it says ganocoffeebrand.com/Merlins-Herbal-Magic-Root-Elixir/index.html

my question to you is how are the Se's and directories liking this tactic?? do you have an idea ? regarding pr and site definition and all that ....... have you seen website done this way?? or would there be a problem or is it better to just file them at html instead of index.html... I learned this from on seo in Washington he claims that Google and all other engine like it becuase every page is an index instead of a subpage" what your take as a seo expert here.....regards

I think that it is highly valuable to use your keywords in the url structure of your site. This technique has been used for years and gives the search engines a better description of your pages content. Another great idea is the interlinking of other internal pages on your site. Link your old pages to the new ones with contextual descriptive anchor text and then link your new pages to some of your older pages in the same manor, while using a linking structure like this "ganocoffeebrand.com/Merlins-Herbal-Magic-Root-Elixir.html" because creating a new directory for every page is going to take time and is really pointless.

    thats good seo insight seopositions

If I told you that it takes me less then 5 seconds to create a new index for subpages would you be objected? I use DW to do it - It is a seo tactic i learned at a seo insight convention with Mike Murray from Fathom seo company

with respect for seo people im very inclined to take seo to newer levels thats seo wisdom...... so again in a nut shell how would the Se's read these indexes or would it matter at all................ lol
